YouTube of the Week: Konami Code Activate Edition

November 20, 2007 by Dave

Hey, those guys who did that awesome Punch-Out trailer also did a trailer for Contra! They even decided to toss in a few other action movie references to round it out. Here’s hoping River City Ransom is next for Team Awesome!

YouTube of the Week: Racing Boxes, Tables, and Chairs Edition

November 13, 2007 by Dave

A stop-motion, live-action homage to the Mario Kart games. My favorite part is how they make the invincible star effect- you just gotta see it. Also a guest appearance by a 40k army!

YouTube of the Week: Wood for Sheep Edition

November 7, 2007 by Dave

A double dose of Catan video! The first, a trailer for a Catan superhero movie, and the second, some kind of prototype device used to make a virtual Catan board.

YouTubes of the Week: No Connection At All Edition

October 30, 2007 by Dave

Two videos I just had to blog about this week, but they’re both short. The first, “Mike Tyson’s Brunch Out” which is hilarious and difficult to describe. October 16, 2007 by Dave

Not entirely sure why this is called “Star Wars vs. Star Trek” but it looks cool all the same. Also: light robots and ninjas. Thanks Ginohn for showing it to me.

YouTube of the Week: Who cares why they're fighting? It's awesome looking.

October 13, 2007 by Dave

Remember that guy who did the Samus vs. Spartan video? Well, he did another one, pitting Final Fantasy against Dead or Alive. It’s truly amazing, not just in the animation but in the fight choreography. Somebody hire this guy to make every new action movie!

YouTube of the Week: Exterminate the Flab Edition

October 9, 2007 by Dave

A Dalek workout video. Not sure why I think this is so funny, except I always find the Dalek voices hilarious.

An Excellent Music Video

October 4, 2007 by Bartoneus

I’ll just get it out there right now, I was reading Kanye West’s Blog. Please don’t have any a heartattack yet, but if you haven’t heard his new album Graduation yet you definitely should and then you might understand. The music video here isn’t one of his, though his newest one does have some awesome […]
