A pair of teenage girls in Ohio are facing charges for placing golden wrapping paper covered boxes around their hometown designed like the famous question-mark boxes from Super Mario Bros. This is great because we are punishing people for our own national insecurities, even when it is revealed that these 16 year old girls were replicating something from a videogame rather then trying to blow up their local church. Looks like we’re on the verge of outlawing creativity and fun all together.
In other news, what was widely speculated to be a clever April Fools joke about the production of a game for the Nintendo DS and Revolution based upon the wonderful Bob Ross’ painting show, turned out to be true! While this does seem to be a slightly hair-brained idea, it is certainly the pefect vehicle to make splendid use of the DS’s stylus pen and the Revolution’s motion-sensitive control capabilities. Oh, plus the idea of being Bob Ross is awesome beyond comparison.
