Review: “The Perilous Secrets of Wilford Manor”

The Perilous Secrets of Wilford Manor is a PDF-only adventure from Neuroglyph Games for 1st—3rd level Dungeons & Dragons Fourth Edition characters. It begins when a well-liked noble asks the PCs to find his son, which the adventure suggests should be an old friend of the PCs, whether they also know each other or not. The trail leads to a small town, then on to an old manor, where they come in contact with an obscure sect, and beyond.

What the New GSL Means for 4e Players

As rumored and then announced yesterday, the long-promised revision of the Game System License for 4e D&D was released. While it’s certainly important news, I think the actual effects on the average gamer are minimal.

Review: “Book of Races”

Book of Races by Flex Dolphynn is the freshman outing by GameVein. It contains 14 races for 4e, licensed under the GSL, in a 70 page PDF available from DriveThruRPG. The book is full color, with at least one illustration of each race. The illustrations range from Poser/DAZ Studio characters with photoshop filters to colored, pencil art (without inking).
