Love Triangle of Stickiness

February 3, 2006 by Bartoneus

Every comicbook geek loves to scrutinize and scoff at information involving their favorite book’s adaptation into the realm of cinema, but since Batman Begins the hopes and dreams have become much more rich and hopeful for the future. While X-Men 3 practically dangles on a thread, nightcrawler-less, it seems that another franchise may be taking […]

V for Vendetta

January 31, 2006 by spankleberry

If we’re talking about comic books to movie trailors, please allow me to share a trailer that gets my erectile tissues fully engourged. If you’ve not read the comic, GO READ IT. It’s Alan Moore for chrissakes, you can’t ask for much more. Moore. This is definitely one on your must-read list. Along with 1984. […]

X-Men 3 Trailer

January 31, 2006 by DarthCthulhu

I’m sure just about everyone has seen it, but in case you haven’t, you can find it here. It looks pretty interesting, actually. I was surprised that they seemed to get everyone back for their principle characters.

Katamari Damacy: The Movie?

January 23, 2006 by Bartoneus

Close on the heels of such classics as Super Mario Bros. the movie, Mortal Kombat, and Tomb Raider are the next generation of Video game movie adaptations. It has always been a shady business, that of bringing gamers’ favorite characters and playthings to the live action film screen, but is Hollywood getting better at it?

King Kong Sings Songs, Jack Black Acts

December 19, 2005 by Dave

This weekend I saw Peter Jackson’s Epic, err, his STAND-ALONE epic, King Kong. If you’ve seen the original, or even The Simpsons parody, you’re not really going to be surprised by any part of the story (and so I’m going to go ahead and say there be spoilers ahead) but it’s well worth watching nonetheless.

Chronicles of Narnia

December 12, 2005 by Bartoneus

It is an unfortunate circumstance that the new movie ‘ The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe’ was immediately taken in by many people as very much the same type of movie as the Lord of the Rings trilogy. This comparison went perhaps as deep for most people as the fact that it was released […]

X-Man-aganza!

December 5, 2005 by Bartoneus

The first, or at least what I believe to be the first, images of X-Men 3 have been released to the public. There is a short article written about it on USA Today that, if you’re anything like me, you will only skim and quickly jump to the pictures and stare curiously at lies within.

Move Your Dead Bones

November 19, 2005 by DarthCthulhu

It has come to my attention that some people still haven’t seen the One Thing that the Internet Was Destined To Spread. For those of you who haven’t yet seen it, here it is: The music video to the third Reanimator movie, starring Jeffery Combs (who also voices the Question on JLU). Move Your Dead […]

Casshern

October 27, 2005 by spankleberry

I have just seen one of the most astounding things. Based on an old anime series, Casshern is a lengthy epic with all the trappings of classic anime stylings captured in a steampunk reality.
