Nic Cage is on Fire

May 24, 2006 by Dave

The trailer to Ghost Rider is up. It’s a pretty risky property to tackle. The effects in the trailer look good, but can a good movie really come out of Constantine meets Torque? And can Nic Cage really play a 20-something motorcycle daredevil? Only time will tell.

Movie Review: Mission Impossible III

May 12, 2006 by drscotto

Tom Cruise is at it again in another blockbuster film. From a bartender in Cocktails, a pilot in Top Gun and a NASCAR driver in Days of Thunder, Tom Cruise has always prided himself as a versitile actor. The first segment of Mission Impossible was very entertaining, which was followed by a poor Matrix rip-off […]

Crossover leads to Epic, Epic leads to Disco…

May 3, 2006 by Dave

You gotta check out this crossover of Lord of the Rings and Star Wars called Starlords. It’s intercut and edited scenes of moments from both series, with some music added. The site just got boingboinged, so it’s a little slammed, but trust me, it’s worth downloading. Especially for Christopher Lee talking to himself: “I can’t […]

The Politicians Have Eyes

March 10, 2006 by Bartoneus

There is a Gamespot news article detailing Joe Lieberman and Hillary Clinton’s latest attempts to stab at the heart of the evil, youth-eroding industry that is Video Games. For a long time they have been set on finding some way to legally prohibit the distribution, if not the very creation, of violent video games in […]

Chamberlin! Stop Your Whining!

February 25, 2006 by DarthCthulhu

After over twenty years, Jim Henson Productions has given the go-ahead to make a sequel to The Dark Crystal. Interestingly, the production will be directed by none other than Genndy Tartakovsky, known for his Cartoon Network work on Dexter’s Laboratory, Samurai Jack, and of course the Star Wars: Clone Wars animated series.

A Venomous Preview

February 24, 2006 by Bartoneus

Superherohype has posted the newest preview image from Spiderman 3, which seems like a well concieved attempt to get everyone’s blood rushing.  I certainly hope that it turns out to not be misleading, but the image is definitely not in black and white, which leads to the conclusion that Peter is wearing a black costume […]

Obi-Wan: "Well, you are a poo-poo head."

February 6, 2006 by Dave

Very funny Episode 3 parody. Worth it just for Jar-Jar getting hit with many, many darts.
