Critical Bits for the week ending 2009-02-07

February 7, 2009 by Gato the News Robot

  • Goodman Games announces GSL licensed magazine. A shot across Pathfinder’s bow?
  • DDI Updates: The Shaman Preview, Wizards and Worlds (Mordain the Fleshweaver / Summoner Wizard preview)
  • WotC Updates: Previews February and Beyond,  Build Them, and Games Will Come
  • L4D Valentines Cards
  • Boardgamegeek 2.0 is live
  • Digital Insider: New York Comic Con info. Also updated character builder FAQ.
  • Dungeon Twister headed to the 360.  Hopefully this has better luck than, say, Talisman for the 360.
  • International Journal of Roleplaying (Hat Tip: @JohnnFour)
  • If you think the stimulus package is expensive, check out how much it would cost to construct a technological terror.
  • Keith Baker’s “Have Dice, Will Travel” tour. Want to play with the creator of Eberron? You could for crash space.
  • Free Star Wars d20 adventure series.
  • DDI: Deities & Demigods Bane, Design & Development The Gnome, the Bad, & The Ugly
  • Geek Graffiti (geekraffitti?)
  • Katana Umbrella (Katanumbrella?)
  • The Spoils CCG bought by a company that makes card sleeves. Will they still have ridiculous prizes?

And finally, our best New York Comic-Con Twitter:

Warforged: “I have both male and female personalities downloaded.”
Ranger: “You’re running Eunuchs?”
