Random Thought Table: Of Subs, Quotes and Anecdotes

June 19, 2008 by The Chatty DM

I took a few days off and I have the kids with me. So online time is limited (I’ll be back later this afternoon when they all go to the Optometrist with my lovely wife).

I know that Thursdays is the day where the call of the net is strongest, so let me point you toward my blogging buddies Dave and Danny’s contest over at Critical Hits. They want you to share your funniest RPG quote/anecdotes. You could win a 20$ Amazon gift certificate (just don’t use it to order the 4e Core Book Gift set).

I left two of my best stories there yesterday.

Also, while I’m at it, I just wanted to mention that Musings of the Chatty DM has creased the 400 RSS feed subscriber point! It now has more readers than posts (This one is #369).

We’re a long point from the moment that I had my first comment, from a friend I kept bugging about ‘my new blog’.

As usual, you all rock and I really appreciate you taking the time reading these lines. If you want to join my community, you are always invited to take the Minion test or join our Forum… with summer coming and 4e out, I think things will pick up on it.

I’ll post a larger post later today, I hesitate between a Trope post about refrigerators or about posting my ‘how to be a RPG blogger’ one… I’ll see what strikes my fancy.

It’s great to see a good blog flourish. It’s all about finding new readers and expanding. And with people getting into new hobbies every day you never know when you will gain a new reader. Congratulations.

Thanks Diane, much appreciated. This thing as grown out of my expectations so long ago that I mostly just enjoy the ride while it lasts!
