Chatty’s Out of the Box #007: Itsy Bitsy and Horny

May 2, 2008 by The Chatty DM

As it been a month already since I posted a Comic? Good thing I never promised to deliver this on a schedule.

Here it is. As usual, click on the comic to see it full size.

This time I had 2 concepts in mind:

  • start introducing the 4e miniatures to my collection
  • Have fun with the Warlock’s association with Bugs, bats and spiders.

When I noticed that the Elven Warlock of the Dungeons of Dread collection was, well, apparently designed to deliver some Fan Service, I couldn’t resist bringing back Kermit “call me K” the Slaad.

Oh and I’m sure the Warlock has no such Baleful Polymorph effect but I had this great 4e Deathjump Spider mini that begged to be used.

I’m getting the hang of doing those pictures, I really like how they look. However, I’m starting to feel constrained by Comic Book Creator’s rather limited collection of clip art (I’d have preferred a Zap! instead of a Boom). I guess I’ll need to start hunting for better ones or ‘gasp’, make my own.

Still these are fun to do… although they tend to take longer than writing actual posts!

Have a great weekend y’all.

I like how he’s touching her butt. Ha. πŸ™‚

BTW, speaking of touching women…. did you know there’s side-boob in your Project Wonderful Ad over here? ———–>

OMG, that wasn’t planned… but when you point it out… I’m actually glad it does!

As for the side Boob… do you mind? I’m pretty permissive in terms sexual-themed ads (being French and all) but I’m willing to address this if some readers are offended.

Actually that ad links to sexual-themed fiction and advertises itself as such, which is, in my opinion, more honest than the countless Game sites that offer gratuitous cleavage shots to bring in the males…

I’d be happy to discuss this here.

I for one, don’t mind some nudity even on a pg site, as long as it’s a not in a sexual contest. Then again I’m like you, a male French speaker, so does it really count. πŸ˜‰

so I finally saw the side-boob! That’s actually a really nice pic/artwork. (I kept getting the hero-ring one and being confused πŸ˜€ )

I’d say so far everything that’s been here has been fine πŸ™‚ Pretty much if you’d see it on the cover of a novel in a chain bookstore I’d call it fair game πŸ™‚

    I don’t know if you’ve ever seen European Novel covers…. πŸ˜€

Yeah, I try to keep things here between PG-13 and R and I keep the swearing to the minimum… except when I rant about the environment.

I did my Graduate Studies in Applied Environmental Microbiology… in a time no one cared about it… that’s why I do Pharma QA and write about people playing make believe…

The Slaad’s character reminds me a bit of Trevor the troll from ask Dr. Eldritch. Keeps on trying despite the overwhelming facts of reality, or shapechange, in his face. πŸ™‚

The 4e mini is a bit fan servicey, but looks very cool. It has a kind of female indiana jones kind of look to it.

The Elven warlock is a nice figurine… a lot of the 4e ones are.

I’m so going to do a Sensitivity Training strip one day… πŸ™‚

    that’s why I specified a chain πŸ˜‰ (they’re _usually_ a little more conservative)

na, writing about people playing make believe is a clear sign of intelligence no matter what your job is πŸ˜€

    re. naughty books:

Historical Fiction: Bodice Rippers, the original porn!

I don’t know if you read French Sandrinnad, but I once found my wife’s copy of ‘La Femme de Papier’ and believe me female erotica literature can trump pretty much anything an average guy can fantasize about.

I read parts of it 12 years ago and I still shudder.

LOL! I have this terrific image of cartoon Chatty backing away from the book with his hands raised and a look of horror on his cartoon face πŸ™‚
and oh yes, we have got naughty ALL sewed up πŸ˜€ we just dress it up & call it ‘romance’ or ‘literature’ so you guys don’t know what we’re reading πŸ˜‰

(btw – other than moving up the shadow a bit on the cover of ‘La Femme’ there to PG it a bit I’d be unoffended by any of those as ads….a little surprised, but not offended πŸ˜€ )

I got no prob with the side-boob; it just was a little unexpected, is all! πŸ™‚

One of my pet peeves with America in general is that Americans pretend to be all uptight and upset about nudity. I mean, really. We all have the same parts (just in varying sizes, shapes and colors). No big deal.

I can’t wait to be back in Europe this summer where evening TV is interesting!! πŸ˜‰

    Yeah, European TV is… interesting…

Phil, we need more comic strips! It’s been 3 friggin’ MONTHS! Pleeeeeaaaase! πŸ˜‰

Yeah Steph, reading them again makes me want to do webcomics again.

I have another, simpler idea, maybe a one panel comic based on an idea I had last year.

Too amusing. What mini is the female character? And which font are you using? (A friend’s shop logo uses it, but he doesn’t know what font it is … makes it hard to do stuff that works with the logo.)

    June 1, 2009 at 5:09 am

@axegrrl: The mini is the elven warlock from the Dungeons of Dread collection of D&D Minis. The Font is called Pig Iron and it’s taken from Comic Book Creator 2, the software I used to make the comics.
