Inq. of the Week: April Fools

April 7, 2008 by Dave

D&D April Fools PageLast week, we determined what we already knew: Red Dragons Rule! (And there are many reasons why.) What was surprising was the furious battle for second place. The sleek Silvers edged out the majestic Golds and sinister Blacks. White dragons went a long time without a single vote (maybe because their breath weapon sucks), but ended up tied for last with the soon to be removed Brass dragon.

I am off in Ohio in the midst of the Gathering of Friends, a 10 day long exclusive boardgaming convention, pushing cubes around and spreading my game designerly wisdom (or receiving it.) However, I cannot shirk my duty to ask an interesting question every other week! That is my curse. I am quite interested in an answer to the following question, which arose from discussions between Bartoneus and myself a week ago about a certain pseudo-holiday:

Perhaps the answers will tell us what if anything we should do next year… or we’ll just lull you into a false sense of security!

I thought Blizzard’s Bard class page was hilarious. 🙂

The D&D 4th edition character sheets were pretty funny, too.

I had a blast making fun of a friend who thought the Super Pii Brothers game was real.

There were some decent ones, mostly on regular food blogs I visit. But for the most part April Fools day doesnt really come across much for me at least

I despise April Fools Day. That may be because I am humorless and bitter human being.

Legend of Zelda trailer was good. A few years back when Maddox changed his Best Page in the Universe to a teen girl blog.
