Deeper in the archives of my pals at Critical Hits lies a link to a gaming video made by semi-celebrities of the audio-visual arts in the frigid spaces of Québec, Canada.
I’m not bringing a lot of new things to the discussions (hence the title reference) except to show it to people who haven’t seen it yet. The subtitles are riddled with errors and plain bad English but the jokes are still funny (Why languages use caps in English and not in French is beyond me). For those who care, these guys ended up with a quirky and brilliant TV show called Phylactère Cola. Which shows you that geeks and good ideas can lead to interesting results.
As a funny aside, I was once DMing a game about 2 months ago and I was really really into my descriptions and I had the exact same tone of voice that the DM uses in the movie when describing the forest. So much so that my players spontaneously started laughing while I was talking.
Oh and I don’t think that kind of ‘anything is possible in D&D….’ should actually be possible….

A classic to be sure. Keep going through the YouTube archives… there’s more good D&D stuff in there 🙂
