Is there such a thing as too much cool?

September 13, 2007 by The Chatty DM

My friends Dave and Danny over at Critical-Hits posted this over on their side.

This makes me ask myself: Is there such a thing as too much cool?

My rational side is a bit repulsed by the sheer cheesiness of the video. But my primitive, emotional brain purrs overtime just thinking about it.

I guess it’s what the Rule of Cool is all about.

What say you?

My wife has actually been listening to the song pretty much none-stop since the cd came out weeks ago, so I was very happy to see a video for it much less how awesome it really is!

(Spelling criticism: I believe you mean to use the word “sheer” rather then “cheer” :D)

    Thanks for the spelling tip…. I write a lot faster than I read… 🙂

You mean to say this is a new song? It sounds straight out of the early nineties!

    Artist – Muse
    CD – Blackholes and Revelations
    Song – Knights of Cydonia

The CD came out in July of 2006 but didn’t get really popular until a few months ago when ‘Super Massive Blackhole’ finally hit regular radio stations. I highly recommend checking out their music!

    Thanks!

Futuristic post apocalyptic cowbow that saves a cute girl with the help of archeology, a woman on a unicorn and a cool robot…

    Nothing beats that.
