Just a reminder that tomorrow is Free Comic Book Day. While I’ve had some frustrating experiences in the past with getting the comics I want, it just makes me want to seek out new comic stores. I still fully support FCBD, and encourage everyone to stop by their friendly local comic book store and pick up some free comics, even if you don’t normally frequent comic book stores.
I haven’t had much time to look at the recommendations this year, but there’s good information at The Beat and Comics Worth Reading. Salon also has a pretty indepth coverage this year.
(And if Free Comics aren’t your thing, then you still have Free RPG Day to look forward to…)
