A Venomous Preview

February 24, 2006 by Bartoneus

Superherohype has posted the newest preview image from Spiderman 3, which seems like a well concieved attempt to get everyone’s blood rushing.  I certainly hope that it turns out to not be misleading, but the image is definitely not in black and white, which leads to the conclusion that Peter is wearing a black costume for at least part of the third movie, which practically makes me cackle with glee.  The prospect of seeing a live action Venom, no matter who plays Eddie Brock, is the sweetest dessert known to man.

Feast upon it!

I have heard in addition to Sandman and Venom they’re going with Green Goblin II as well, but its not going to be a simple Bad Batman Formula (IE villians team up for shoestring reasons to get that darned hero), but instead a bunch of different characters out on their own…

sounds like they’re setting up 4.

Stupid site wont load the pics…

Not that we didnt see it all coming. Jamesons son leaving on the first maned flight to mars. Peter feeling frustrated with his super powers.

at the end of SM2 I remember saying to someone.. the next ones gonna have Venom, and they better not F^%& it up.

I think I said the exact same thing, though it seems many people are concerned that they may be changing Venom to not be from outer space (ala – Ultimate universe – where Venom is a suite Peter and Brock’s fathers designed)

I think space monster makes for a much cooler story though, and much more scary!

    You heard it here first:

The REAL Venom will be played by Andy Serkis. “Yesss… we hateses the spiders, precious…”
