A highly thematic game

World of Warcraft: The Board Game will be released soon, followed by the World of Warcraft Collectible Card Game. We already had a Warcraft board game and rpg, but apparently the universe changed dramatically after Warcraft 3, as a new fad swept through the citizens of the two continents: standing around and giving quests.

Big Blizzard is Watching

Those who play World of Warcraft probably know about the little service it runs called The Warden. The Warden is a program that runs statistical analysis on a player’s system to make sure that no cheating programs are being used.

Many of you have already heard my rantings about this game, but it is from the developers of one of my favorite PS2 games from long ago called Ico. Both of these games are made with absolutely stunning visuals, in and out of gameplay. Shadow is a wonderful game, while I have no had the time to play it even half of the way through, it has already proven to be an impressive puzzle/platformer/adventure game. The only downsides are the camera control can get a little fuzzy, and the supposed play time is very short, 10-12 hours of game time. Nonetheless I would highly recommend that everyone play this game, if not entirely to see the absolutely beautiful artistry put into it.

In the development of every Massive Multiplayer Online Roleplaying Game people must have thought about it thoroughly. I mean, after all, it IS a game of playing roles. So how could such an innocent, completely logical idea turn into the harbinger of pain, death and destruction? [Read the rest of this article]
