YouTube Tuesday: Epic Speech Overload Edition
If you’re not inspired by some part of this, there’s just no getting through to you. Extra points given for using one of my all-time favorite geek epic speeches that is underquoted: Picard’s “The line must be drawn here!” speech from First Contact.
YouTube Tuesday: Choose Your Own Edition
An idea I absolutely adore (because I thought of it over a year ago, grumble grumble). A YouTube version of a Choose Your Own Adventure story, with your choices embedded into the video itself. Though very low budget, still fun, and a great use of technology… and I really dig the music and sound. I’m hoping we’ll see more.
YouTube Tuesday: Shine on Me Edition
When the Senior Brand Manager of D&D declares this to be good enough to be the next D&D movie, you know it’s going to be awesomely bad. Watch for a special appearance by Doctor Doom!
YouTube Tuesday: Akira Remake Edition
A satirical take on a remade version of the classic movie Akira. With Day the Earth Stood Still starring Keanu Reeves coming out, no crazy remake concept would surprise me nowadays.
YouTube Tuesday: 20XX Edition
The first trailer for a fanmade Mega Man movie, to be released in its entirety on the Internet. It reminds me in some ways of Grayson, which is one of my favorite fanmade trailers.
YouTube Tuesday: Beam Me Up Edition
How could it be anything else this week but the trailer to the new Star Trek movie, a reboot of the franchise. I’ve embedded the theater bootleg since it’s the only one up on YouTube, but I highly recommend watching the full quality trailer instead.
Everything I’ve heard has made me excited for this movie, and the trailer only moreso. What do you guys think?
YouTube Tuesday: Singing about Kissing Wookies Edition
An a capella version of various John Williams songs, with new lyrics around Star Wars. Oh, and it’s composited very well, as you’ll see.
YouTube Tuesday: Vote for Lando Edition
Currently only available at Funny or Die, some campaign ads you need to see before voting. And remember, if the Emperor doesn’t win, he might have to get another job.
