Doctor Horrible – Joss Whedon, Nathan Fillion, and.. Doogie Howser?

The mind behind Buffy and Firefly, the Actors behind Captain Tightpants and Doogie Howser, and god knows who else, have come together to bring the internet a free mini-series.

Well, free at first. Go to www.drhorrible.com on July 15th for Act 1, 17th for Act 2, and 19th for Act 3. They will remain free until the 20th, when the series will come down and be made available to download for “nominal fee” and eventually be release on dvd, with I quote “the finest and bravest extras in all the land”.

There’s more the the reasons behind this mini, so check out DrHorrible.com. Read Joss’ letter, and as he says, do what we do best. Spread the Word.

The Sense of Sanity – The Feud Part 2. "The Eternal Struggle"

So, better late than never.

This was to be a three parter, but Rey concluded it here, since by his logic “it was too much to drag out over three parts” so that’s that.

Next week? Tune in for Robert Hagans Sense of Sanity debut!

The Sense of Lateness…

The long version is.. long, with fire, brimstone, and a few dragons.

The short version is, crappy artwork combined with scanner driver problems and 1:10am = me throwing up my hands and deciding to finish tomorrow.

As in, burning the version of the comic sitting next to me right now, and drawing something decent, then driving to my parents house to get the good scanner and posting the comic.

Late, but better… trust me ;.;

The Sense of Sanity – "Yes, They're Real"

soscrithit2-copy.jpg

A little late, but at least there are real speech bubbles! ^.^

Say hello to Josie! This is the first of three parts as written by Rey and illustrated by myself. Rey and I have something of a feud going on, as to which one of us will visit the others house first. We live literally moments from each other, yet neither of us will budge on who’s going where first. And so Rey decided to make a comic of it. And here you have it.

The Sense of Sanity – "Rape as a Double entendre"

Here we go again. A new SoS dawns on a new stage. Starting today, and hopefully continuing every monday hereafter, there will be a new Sense of Sanity webcomic posted right here. [Read the rest of this article]

Finally.. New Justice League

A new episode of JLU aired the other night called “Flash and Substance” which seems to feature Flash’s rogue gallery. It also has a more of Flash as Wally West, which we really haven’t seen from the series. Not since maybe Starcrossed.
Either way, it’s worth checking out! So go and DL! Since there’s only a few new ones left.

WildCAT's are Back

This year sees big revival in Wildstorm, as several flagship titles are getting a make-over. Most important of which (to me anyway ^.^) is the relaunch of WildCATs. This version will be written by Grant Morrison and penciled by series creator Jim Lee.

seaQuest DVD

For any who remember, the 1993 NBC Classic “seaQuest DSV” will be released on DVD December 26th 2005.

I for one, can’t wait. As the first season of seaQuest was perhaps some of the best sci-fi on TV.

For more info, check these guys out, they know their stuff.
