YouTube Tuesday: Game Fuel Results Vary Edition

No matter how much Mountain Dew Game Fuel you drink, this may not happen to you. Also, anybody think it’s kind of weird that the woman changes into a male orc? (Via Extralife)

If the game was actually like that, I might still be playing it…

As far as gender change, I almost always played females… I’d rather look at a female’s butt on my screen all day then a males. But, to each their own.

Nah, that’s not weird at all. I know of a number of female gamers that routinely play male avatars so they don’t have to deal with bad pick-up lines and come-ons all the time.

And in the inverse case, beowulf is right–lots of guys play females as well. I’m frequently one of them as well, for reasons similar to beowulf’s. Though I rarely play online games, it still holds true.

Interesting commercial. As a female wow player, I can honestly say I have never played a male character (I don’t plan on it either). And again to be honest, I don’t know many other female wow players who play male characters either.

I will also have to agree with Beowuff that I know tons of guys who play female characters (my fiancee being one of them, he usually plays female characters but does have the occasional male character).

Personally I think the commercial would have been cooler if the orc was a female blood elf (class wouldn’t matter at that point). As a female gamer I will have to admit that I love the outfits for the female characters (they make me wonder sometimes how it could count as plate, but it is a fantasy game right?)
