The voice of Chattyness

If you ever wondered what this French Canadian Blogger sounds like after 3 days with little sleep and way too much geek energy, go and have a listen at Pulp Gamer.

They just put up the RPGbloggers unite panel from Gen Con.

Along with Dave and Bartoneus of Critical Hits, Yax of Dungeonmastering.com, The Stupid Ranger and Bob of RPGdigest, you can listen to our stories behind getting into blogging, our tips and tricks and our weathering of slumps and finding our voices.

Enjoy!

The Chatty DM is the "nom de plume" of gamer geek Philippe-Antoine Menard. He has been GMing various versions of D&D and other RPGs for nearly 30 years. A renowned RPG blogger, game designer and published author, he squats a corner of Critical Hits he affectionately calls "Musings of the Chatty DM." (Email Phil or follow him on Twitter.)

You expected what? I Frenchmen’s accent? A higher pitched voice? :)

  3. Bob says:

I dunno. Your voice doesn’t fit in my head with the picture at the top of your blog. I’ve no idea why.

Actually this has reminded me to ask my Canadian neighbour about this poutine you speak of…

I have yet to listen to this yet, even if it’s just to see how stupid I sound. :D

My artistic comment at GenCon was simply that every now and then an Eiffel Tower comes out of Phil’s mouth (he reverts to French when he’s tired).

@ Bob: Yeah, if my voice sounded like my cartoon, I’d most certainly sound like someone who breathes Helium!

@Bart: I liked the part where you talk for some time, I interrupt you, yo go back to your argument and then realize that you don’t have a point and mention it!

As for the Eiffel Tower thing… this was so right, and damn funny! Masterfully done!
