Ok. I have been a fan for a very long time. Played the box set (acutally had a 15'x15' table set up for it in a room with landscaping and all). Then I played all the mechwarrior series and the mechcommander series...

Now, I'm a MMO kinda guy. @ 37 yrs old, I still find my reflection to my Battletech, mechwarrior and mechcommander days with fondness... Which leads me to a suggestion...

Why not make a Battletech MMO game? Players (pilots) would be able to able to join factions / team up with other players and move though and live the lore. Innersphere vs. Clan or whatever. Or house vs. house. I really think if we could get a MMO developer like Eve Online, Blizzard or someone with experience in making a MMO and team with our battletech leaders - a great game can be developed. With a great marketing campaign with all the gaming sites, retailers and a few primetime commercial spots... I beleive the masses will come! Imagine what the Battletech universe could do with millions of monthly subscribers @ $15.00 / month.

This is reall good news! I always wanted to play battletech, but I didn't have the money.

I loved the video games, and read the novels when I was in HS. Time to go buy some nostalgia!
