Chatty's bid for world domination!

Actually not really.

This is just a quick note to tell you that I wrote a guest review of Mario Kart Wii over at Critical Hits. I thought it would be more appropriate over there than here.

So if Video Games are your cup of tea, head on over there and have a quick read.

Also, I take the occasion to say that Critical Hits is an excellent Geek blog that also covers, among many things, movies, board games and Role Playing games. It’s part of my daily reads and I started blogging partly because of the cool things I saw these guys do.

Enjoy.

It is part of your bid for world domination and you know it :) (Which is fine as long as you bring bacon.)

    Thanks for the shout-out too.

MarioKart Wii was my first exposure to the Wii, and I played it just last night…for about four hours straight. It is addictive and fun, and I really dig the different levels. Well, actually, I hated some of them and loved others, but they were all well done – some were just impossible for me to get through in the top 3 spots.

My son completed the game at the 50cc level and I must say that having some levels where you can drop your car in the scenery makes it a lot harder…. This is not a game that allows you to breeze through it by counting on walls to help you steer…

They certainly do change the dynamic.

Me, I have a problem with dark levels. Though my nightvision in the real world is fine, for some reason, I totally lose the ability to follow along on nighttime levels. In the haunted house level, I have to stay with the pack the entire way or I end up driving in the wrong direction.
