YouTubes of the Week: No Connection At All Edition

Two videos I just had to blog about this week, but they’re both short. The first, “Mike Tyson’s Brunch Out” which is hilarious and difficult to describe. And after the jump, the first trailer for the first Dragonlance animated movie… and boy, it does not look good, despite some awesome voice talent.

Whoa, 80′s flashback. That was some terrible animation. Woah. I just turned into Keanu Reeves.

My thought exactly. I already don’t like traditional style animation blending with obvious CG, but it’s even worse if both styles look crappy to begin with!

holy shit that looks like ass! i think it was MAYBE on the level of ’80s cartoons…

  4. I miss Jim Henson…

    Hmm…

BUT WILL THERE BE A BALD LITTLE YODA-ISH MIDGET CALLED GAMEMASTER?!

  6. Aeo, I miss the D&D cartoon series…also the TLoZ cartoon series…

    Just 80′s/early 90′s cartoons in general…

Ok im just going to come out and say it….

We need to stop with the CGI/Animation mix cartoons and frankly the CGI Cartoons as well.

CGI works wonders for movies, but when you add two mediums like drawing and cgi together it just…sucks.

    Please, make the sucking stop.

Agreed, that was the only thing that I really hated about the Justice League cartoon. Characters were more traditionally animated (and animated very well, in fact) but then they hopped in a crappy CGI ship or fought a crappy CGI robot, and it drove me crazy.
