YouTube Game Trailer of the Week: Poor Samus Strips Again Edition

I made another exception to my YouTube only policy- this video of Master Chief and Samus fighting Matrix style has a lot going for it, if only marred by a bit of excessive cheesecake.

Ridiculously amazing… all the way through! Only lesbian cartoon action would have made this video better.

First time I saw it I thought the ending was pretty ridiculous and way out of believability, but after reading the animator Monty Oum’s commentary on it, I feel that it was actually pretty justified. He indirectly said it’s not a Halo or a Metroid fanboy video, it’s this guy having fun with character models and action sequences. I think he mentioned that it could be any different, original characters in the place of Master Chief and Samus, but it definitely wouldn’t enjoy so much word-of-mouth attention if that were the case.
