To Brighten the Day

That Jack Thompson will not stop at attempting to fully insert his foot fully into his mouth, no matter what. Thankfully, some excellent truth-seeking coverage is provided by Kotaku, if you look hard enough you can find a hidden message in their ‘Read More’ section:

Jack Thompson: the Original Raving Asshole?

(Read it like one long sentence. Obviously via Kotaku and thanks to The O for pointing it out to me.)

As many of us are very close to these tragedies, I figured I would provide some heart-lightening stuff to hopefully provide some brief respite. Amber has written a lenghty but excellent post about the competition of other games with WoW, with some earth-shattering ideas that Blizzard hasn’t simply initiated their planetary take-over scheme but it was all relatively un-planned. I don’t buy it. Another gem can be found in the comments to her post, with the New York Times’ diagram of a blog.

Last but not least is a collection of Geek Culture images, some frighteningly close to old-friend’s houses possibly minus a few small animals. My personal favorite, obviously, would be the computer-monitor arch, a stunning combination of form and function? (via Digg)

Danny works professionally as an architect and serves as managing editor here at CH, which means he shares many of the duties of being an editor but without the fame and recognition. He also writes about RPGs, videogames, movies, and TV. He is married to Sucilaria, and has a personal blog at Incorrect Blitz Input. (Email Danny or follow him on Twitter).

Haha. It was the “raving asshole” link that really caught my eye at first. I hope other websites will continue to insinuate the same thing.
